Cambridge City Council Tour de France 2014
A Cycling City
The Cambridgeshire Film Consortium was commissioned by the Cambridge City Council to create a film to celebrate the people, history and culture of Cambridge to welcome the Tour de France event to our city.
This short film blends beautiful and fascinating archive films of cycling in the historic city from 1930′s — 1980′s, with contemporary art and film footage capturing the iconic city landmarks of Kings College Chapel, the River Cam, the Market Square as well as the lesser known Mill Road and Parkers Piece. The lively acoustic soundtrack also complements the celebratory atmosphere of racing cyclists with go-pro cameras on the Cambridge Tour de France route.
A Cambridgeshire Film Consortium film for Cambridge City Council sponsored by Bidwells of Cambridge.
